There may be many reasons why the mp3 doesn't play.
You might try accessing the link from a different computer, or making sure that the computer you're using has the latest QuickTime software installed.
You might try right clicking on the link and then trying to download the file. Once it's on your computer, double click the file and see if it plays. Lots of suggestions. I hope you can make it work!
